kicks-off from May 20, 2025.
Jackie’s entry in the film comes as a big surprise.
Siddharth Anand narrated the basic world of King to Jackie along with his character arc, and the actor took no time to come on board the film. Looking forward to working with the superstar on the set of King. Jackie considers him one of the most successful and generous producers in Indian cinema.
Since Shah Rukh, Jackie and Anil Kapoor had earlier been together in the 1995 blockbuster Trimurti, the film is particularly noteworthy because it brings them all back together. The legendary trio’s King collaboration has admirers of their previous work together very excited. One insider went on to say that King has one of the largest ensembles for a feature film in modern times, as every character has been cast to perfection with actors.
Along with the main cast, the film will also include several supporting actors who play significant but supporting roles.
Shah Rukh Khan’s assassin role
Although Shroff’s character specifics are still under wraps, King looks like it will be an action thriller unlike any other. The crew has enlisted the help of renowned worldwide action filmmakers to craft thrilling yet realistic action scenes, and Shah Rukh will portray the character of an assassin. The villain will be played by Bachchan, while SRK’s handler will be portrayed by Kapoor. Along with SRK and Suhana, the viewer will see their endeavours to defeat AB Jr.
With its impressive ensemble cast and thrilling reunions, such as the Ram Lakhan duo Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff, fans are getting extremely excited for the film’s King release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
