PM Modi govt disciplines Turkey for supporting Pakistan with weapons
In a notable revisions, update in the downgrading relations amid India and Turkey following revelation that Pakistan used Turkish drones to attack India, aviation watchdog BCAS revoked the security clearance for Turkish ground handling company Celebi Airport Services India Pvt Ltd. And the BCAS took the decision in the “interest of national security” days after Turkiye backed Islamabad and condemned India’s recent strikes on terror camps in Pakistan.
For those unversed, Celebi Airport Services India, which is part of Turkiye-based Celebi, offers services at nine airports — Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Kannur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa (GOX), Ahmedabad and Chennai.

In a move that came as a big shock to India, Turkiye and Azerbaijan backed Pakistan and condemned India’s recent strikes on terror camps in that country and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.
