Mumbaikars got the much-needed relief from humidity as rainfall hit parts of the city on Saturday morning. The IMD forecasts continued light showers and partly cloudy skies.

Reportedly, the IMD across India, predicts rainfall and thunderstorms in southern and northeastern regions for the next five days. While Northwestern India braces for thunderstorms and heatwaves, eastern India anticipates hot, humid conditions.

Notedly, many parts of Mumbai on Saturday morning,braced the rainfall that brought much-needed relief from prevailing humid conditions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light showers throughout the day.

Infact, Mumbai has been experiencing
pre-monsoon showers over the past few days.
Meanwhile, the IMD has predicted continued rainfall and thunderstorm activity across several regions of the country over the next five days.

In her chat with media on saturday, IMD scientist Akhil Srivastava voiced that southern India, especially the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, will experience persistent rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds for the next five days.
