Shreya Ghoshal ended her ‘All Hearts Tour’ in Mumbai with a tribute to the Indian armed forces, performing AR Rahman composed ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ as a mark of respect and as a gesture of Charan sparsh to the Indian Armed Forces.

The concert, which was postponed from May 10 due to Operation Sindoor, marked the final Indian performance of her tour.

Amidst her concert, Shreya performed the patriotic song ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ and paused midway to speak to the audience about the role of the armed forces in ensuring the safety and security of the country.

She added that every second that we are standing here, we are not even having a single worry in our mind because there is somebody protecting us at the border. This won her wide applauds from the people.
She further added that at any place you ever see an army man, navy or air force officer, we should touch their feet. This song is like a respectful bow from us. We should sing it together for our motherland. She would like her entire band to be part of this as well. If we sing it together, then it will be very beautiful and this is how we should remember this moment.

The tribute comes shortly after rising tensions between India and Pakistan, marked by India’s launch of Operation Sindoor, a significant cross-border military operation.

The Mumbai concert concluded the Indian leg of Ghoshal’s tour and featured a full-capacity audience. The singer’s remarks and performance received a warm response from those in attendance.
