Southwest Monsoon hits Maharashtra within 24 hours of its onset over Kerala
This year reportedly, Monsoon sets a new record. After hitting Kerala touched Maharashtra within 24 hours.
As per IMD conditions look favourable for the monsoon to advance further into Mumbai within the next three days. If the monsoon reaches Mumbai by May 28, it will set a new record.
Notedly, the southwest monsoon has already covered Goa and reached Devgad in Maharashtra’s South Konkan region. The usual date for the monsoon to reach Maharashtra is 5th June, but this year, it has arrived 10 days early.
