In keeping pace with the new trend of re-releases and sequels, legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai confirms Khal Nayak 2 with Sanjay Dutt as Ballu Balram. It’s been three decades since ‘Khal Nayak’ released. Now the maker comes up with its sequel and return of Sanjay Dutt as Ballu Balram. Subhash Ghai ensures a modern twist on the cult classic.
Notably, 30 years ago Khal Nayak dominated the box office and transformed the perception of the
anti-hero in Bollywood.
Source close to the production house reveals that Sanjay Dutt returns as an older, more seasoned version of the original anti-hero, the sequel will maintain the nostalgic core of the movie even though it will feature a new generation of characters.
