Narendra Gupta, who forensic expert Dr. R.P. Salunkhe Narendra Gupta, who played the popular forensic expert Dr. R.P. Salunkhe in the long-running crime show CID has exited the series after more than two decades.
Joined CID back in 1998, and over the years, his character became an important part of the team dynamic.
Following Dr. Salunkhe’s exit, the show is set to return to its original format, with ACP Pradyuman resuming leadership. Upcoming episodes will focus on rebuilding the trust within the team and tackling new cases
without their long-time forensic expert. The series aims to maintain its crime-solving focus while introducing fresh
storylines to keep viewers engaged.
