Aamir Khan to do a cameo in Rajinikanth starrer “Coolie”
Legendary actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan has eventually confirmed his cameo role in Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial ‘Coolie’. The film is all set for a grand August 14 Independance eve release.
Over an interview after hesitancy to a fan’s question about the rumours of his cameo Khan confirmed his presence. He further added that he agreed to the project instantly without asking for the film’s script.
Talking about how he came onboard ‘Coolie’, he explained, being a big fan of Rajni, he said it’s a privilege to share screen space with the legend Rajinikanth.
Further he went on to add that when Lokesh told him he wanted him to do a cameo in Rajini sir’s movie, he gave his nod and saying ‘Done’. Whatever it is, he is doing it.
Aamir is also doing another film with film with Lokesh Kanagaraj after he wraps up Kaithi 2′. This will be in mid next year.
Infact since August 2024, rumours over Aamir Khan’s cameo in ‘Coolie’ have been doing the rounds. This year, on March 24, Lokesh Kanagaraj gave the slightest hint when he posted a photo with Aamir Khan from what appeared to be the sets of ‘Coolie’.
While it was a birthday wish post for Aamir Khan, fans concluded that Aamir Khan is indeed a part of the film.
