He explained, “he always checks that the product is delivering what they have promised adding that while he holds himself to certain ethical standards, there have been rare occasions when he’s bent his own rules if the creative value of a campaign impressed him.
“Sometimes, he breaks his own principle. For example, he never announces the price of the product that he is endorsing because he is not a salesman but a brand ambassador and can talk about brand but not about its price… Once, he broke that rule and spoke about price as well. This was during ‘Chota Coke’ for Rs 5. Because he really liked its story. It was so creative that he compromised.
Addressing the questions surrounding his involvement with Dream11, he shared, he has refused alcohol and tobacco. Recently, did Dream11, so people asked him that is he doing Dream11, refused alcohol, tobacco. But the script for Dream11 was so good. He couldn’t say no to it. He laughed so much after he read that ad and was certain that he wanted to do it. As for the product, if it is illegal, then ban it, then won’t make any ads on it. And if it’s legal, then let do it too.”
