In a shocking incident Pune Bridge collapsed in Pune on the evening of 15 June. Half of the bridge built on the Indrayani River broke and fell. When the bridge collapsed, many people were present on the same bridge at that time.

In such a situation, it is estimated that about 25 to 30 people have been swept away in the river.
Some tourists have drowned due to the collapse of the bridge at Kund Mall in Maval, Pune. As per information available, this incident occurred at around 3:40 pm. There were stones also present on the part of the bridge that fell. Those who fell on the rocks have also suffered serious injuries. At the same time, many people have been swept away by the river stream.

There was a lot of crowd being Sunday, as large number of tourists were present on the pool at that time. Some people were standing on the bridge and were getting photographs taken. Information about how many people have drowned has not been revealed yet.

According to initial information, about 20 to 25 people have drowned. About 200 tourists were present at the spot. After the accident, everyone was removed from the place so that there is no problem in the rescue operation.

Many children had gone to this bridge with their families to celebrate the holidays. There is also a temple here, where a large number of people come to visit.
