Amidst an interactive session BJP President Ravindra Chavan in ‘Lok Samvad’ held on Wednesday said, the controversy over three-language policy was a well-orchestrated ploy of the opposition keeping political motive in sight.
The chief minister Devendra Fadnavis had at length explained there was no question of imposition of Hindi language in primary school. They had always maintained Marathi was mandatory for state schools and not Hindi.” The state government has appointed a committee led by Narendra Jadhav to relook at the entire issue afresh, he said.
“The withdrawal of the three-language policy was to avoid any law and order problems in the state. The BJP will contest the elections on development plank.”
Adding that under Fadnavis’s leadership Mumbai has undergone transformation through mega projects. The development works across Maharashtra is a reality. Outlining the role and responsibilities bestowed upon him as state party chief, Chavan said, “Our top leaders have laid the roadmap. We have to strengthen the organisation, reach the BJP ideology to every segment and sector across the state.”
