In the ongoing trend for sequels and re-releases,
actor-filmmaker Deepak Tijori expresses his desire for a sequel to
Jeeta Wohi Sikandar with none other than actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan.

Deepak Tijori, known for his roles in ‘Aashiqui’ and ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, shared a nostalgic yet thrilling idea in an exclusive chat, one that’s sure to excite fans of the 1992 cult classic ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’. Tijori, who played the memorable role of Shekhar Malhotra, said he would love to return to the iconic Model School vs Rajput rivalry, but this time, as a coach.

Amidst his media interaction, conversation with India when Deepak was asked if he could reunite with one co- star from his past who would be and for which film , he went on to name Aamir Khan.
Adding that Aamir could be the coach of Model School, and he could be the coach of Rajput. That would be amazing! It would be a war worth watching on screen.”
The actor expressed how strongly the film continues to resonate with audiences across generations, even three decades later. “Honestly, it’s a great idea! It’s his hope some director or producer listening to this actually plans something like this. That film still resonates with audiences today even Gen Z. And those characters are so iconic that seeing them again would be absolutely amazing.

Tijori, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar, also reflected on the rare camaraderie that existed among actors in the 90s.
