Hindi version of Malayalam film “Drishyam 3” on hold

Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam 3’ is credited as one of the much-anticipated films in Mollywood, and the makers are now steadily moving towards production.

The film is in Malayalam and Hindi. Director Jeethu Joseph with due consultation with Mohanlal never wanted the Hindi version to be made ahead of the Malayalam film.

The Hindi version of the successful Malayalam franchise features Ajay Devgn in the lead role.

Accordingly, Jeethu urged the makers of Hindi ‘Drishyam 3’ to Halt Early Production.

In a recent conversation with Mathrubhumi, Jeethu revealed that there had been discussions about starting both versions simultaneously. However, the makers of the Hindi adaptation were advised to hold off. “There were demands to make the Malayalam and Hindi versions together, but they haven’t made any final decisions on those matters.
