Salman Khan addresses Sonakshi Sinha ‘Devi’
Sonakshi returns to face the arc lights with “Nikita Roy” a paranorma suspense drama. Reacquainting
memories of her Dabangg days, she has received public encouragement from her former co-star Salman Khan. He expressed genuine anticipation and support for her upcoming film, hinting at his eagerness to see her in this intense new role.
Taking to his X and Instagram Salman Khan expressed his encouragement for both Sonakshi and the film’s entire team. Along with the movie poster, Salman’s message reflected his enthusiasm and invited his followers to experience the film upon its release.
He playfully acknowledged Sonakshi’s transformation into the titular character and urged audiences to catch the film in theatres on its release date.
His tweet read “Sonakshi devi bani” (she has turned into a goddess) Nikita Roy! Looking forward to this film… Aap bhi jaake dekho, kal release hai! All the best to the team… kill it…
Responding to Salman’s post, Sonakshi reshared his Instagram story and reminded her followers of the release date—July 18. The thriller Nikita Roy has been helmed by Kussh S. Sinha, Sonakshi’s brother, a family collaboration on a unique cinematic venture.
The film has already sparked excitement online. A user enthusiastically responded to Salman’s endorsement, expressing interest in the movie’s dark and gripping premise. Another comment humorously noted that since “Bhai” (Salman) had recommended it, there was no question about missing it in theatres.
In “Nikita Roy”, Sonakshi Sinha steps into the shoes of a fearless investigator. Her character specializes in unveiling fake paranormal events and revealing the truth behind so-called supernatural occurrences. The narrative gains intensity when she confronts a mysterious case that challenges everything she once believed. Co-actors Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal play significant roles in the story. Although the movie was initially scheduled to arrive in cinemas on June 27, it was later rescheduled to July 18.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is preparing for his own upcoming feature titled Battle of Galwan, a patriotic drama based on the 2020 standoff between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Ladakh. A recently unveiled poster showed Salman in a rugged army outfit, with visible injuries and an intense glare. The accompanying tagline emphasized the gravity of the confrontation, highlighting that it occurred at a high altitude without a single shot being fired.
Salman’s earlier release, “Sikanda”, a Murugadoss directorial AR Murugadoss and
co-featuring Rashmika Mandanna, didn’t meet expectations at the box office notwithstanding featuring an ensemble cast including Kajal
