Reportedly, SRK is recovering in the UK hospital.
In a heartfelt post, the WB CM wrote “regarding my brother Shah Rukh Khan sustaining muscular injuries in the midst of filming dshooting make me worried. Wish him a speedy recovery tagging the actor.
As per sources, the injury isn’t very serious and the actor is recovering well and is advised a month-long rest.
However, the incident has impacted the production schedule, with filming now expected to resume in September.
Following the injury, SRK travelled to the United States and has since relocated to the UK, where he is recuperating with his family. A planned trip to Sri Lanka has been postponed to prioritise his recovery and well-being.
This isn’t the first time the West Bengal CM has shown public affection for SRK. The actor has served as the brand ambassador of West Bengal and is a frequent guest at the state’s annual Kolkata International Film Festival. Their camaraderie often hits headlines, with Banerjee affectionately referring to Khan as her “brother.”
Fans across the country have flooded social media with well-wishes for the actor’s recovery. Meanwhile, no official statement has been released by Khan or his team regarding the extent of the injury or its impact on the film’s schedule.
SRK was last seen in ‘Dunki’ and has a packed slate ahead, including ‘King’, one of the most awaited films of the year.
