Lakes supplying water to Mumbai crosses
86.88 per cent

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Tansa Lake began to overflow at 5:40 pm on Tuesday evening

Mumbai’s water stock crosses 86.88% of its total storage capacity.
It comes as a big relief for the Mumbaikars that the Tansa Lake one of the city’s seven key water sources —started to overflow on Tuesday owing to the steady and strong rainfall in its catchment area over the past few days.

As per Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation this will ensure uninterrupted water supply in the coming months.
