Ashutosh Gowariker says SRK’s National Award win is historic
Veteran filmmaker Ashutosh
Gowariker, chairperson of the Feature Film Jury of the 71st National Awards, says that he is amazed that Shah Rukh Khan eventually won the National Award after 33 years wait.
Ashutosh directed Shah Rukh Khan in
Swades released in 2004. Shah shared the award with Vikrant Massey recognised for his performance in the social drama 12th Fail.
