Infact, Vaani Kapoor’s “Mandala Murders’ Murders marks her foray into OTT. The Gopi Puthran-directed mythical series is currently streaming on Netflix. Vaani plays the lead along with Surveen Chawla. It is her 10th release in 12 years. Hungry for good work, the actress further Reveals that she that it hasn’t been easy to find exciting scripts that allow her to do something different.
Vaani Kapoor says good scripts don’t come to her easily
In an exclusive interview Vaani said, she would love to do more films, but it is not easy to get the right film. In her case, it hasn’t been easy. Sometimes, you have to wait for something good to come along, even for something marginally new.”
She further added, that her intention is to hold on to self-belief and back oneself even in the times that are not the best. She never runs after money and the perks of being an actor. She is for craving good work, proving something and being one of the best in her line of work. That’s the intention.”
‘Good opportunities haven’t tapped her door often’
Vaani also shared that good opportunities haven’t come tapping on the door as she holds herself strong. “If more good films start coming my way, you will see me a lot more often. It is not so easy, doesn’t come so easily and less often, they have not tapped my door. She has tried to hold onto herself and not sign anything that she have no conviction for.
Mandala Murders is set in an enigmatic town called Charandaspur. The show is about two detectives. They unravel a series of ritualistic killings tied to a secret society that has lurked in the shadows for centuries.
