The Bollywood openly makes shares .over the inevitability of ageing, resonating on how everyday tasks that once came effortlessly now require conscious effort and careful adjustments.

perceptibly, ⁶ hi

With his characteristic humour, he acknowledged the challenges of staying active, “Some routines that were there earlier seem to suggest that because they were done some years ago, it shall be a cakewalk to initiate them again. NAH no, baby. Just one day’s absence, and the pains and mobility go for a very long walk. It is a wonder that normal actions once effortless now require the mind to think before they can be exercised. Simple acts — like putting on trousers. The doctors advise. ‘Please, Mr Bachchan, sit down and wear them. Do not try to stand while you put them on; you could lose balance and fall.’”
Bachchan also spoke more broadly about the universal experience of ageing. “And inside, he sort of smile in disbelief, until he finds they were so right. That simple act which once came so naturally is now governed by a selective routine. Handle bars oh boy!

You need them all over, to ahold and steady the body before any physical act — even the simplest, like bending down to pick up a piece of paper that has flown off your desk with the breeze. Seriously. The bravado tells you to go ahead, until you realise goodness, it’s a major problem. The rapidity of performing such acts has slowed down, weighed with uncertainty.”

Striking a philosophical note, he added that it can happen to all of us and he wishes that it doesn’t but in time it shall We all go downward the day we are brought into this World.”

Yet even as he resonates on slowing down, Bachchan shows no signs of stepping back. He is set to feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s ‘Section 84’ and will reprise his role in the sequel to Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He also continues to command television screens as the host of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, connecting with audiences across generations with his trademark charisma.
