Karan Johar recalls bagging his first Filmfare Award for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
While looking back back at his journey on the stage of Filmfare Awards, both as a host and for picking the trophy for his movie over the years, Karan Johar called the top honour an ’emotion’.
He made this known at the press conference in Ahmedabad, where the Times Group was present as the official partners with the Government of Gujarat
Notably, the Filmfare Awards marks its 70th edition in 2025. Johar, who has been part of the movie making business ever since he turned director with 1998 blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, looked back at his journey at the Filmfare awards over the years, that he witnessed when his later father Yash Johar made films.’His dad late Yash Johar urged him to recite Gayatri Mantra’.
