Mumbai once again struck by Tuk-Tuk terror Gang
Reportedly, the terror of the ‘Tuk-Tuk Gang’ has jacked-up once again on Mumbai roads. This gang targets moving cars very cleverly and then before anyone can notice anything, they make good their escape with valuables.
A likewise incident has happened to a person in Navi Mumbai. When he was ascending from the SLR bridge in Kurla, the goons targeted his car.
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the car.
It is clearly seen in the footage that as the car’s speed slowed down while coming down from the bridge, a young man suddenly came and started ‘tuk-tuk’ loudly on the car window. When the driver lowered the window a little, another person from behind started ‘tuk-tuk’ on the other door of the car. This distracted the driver.The first accused snatched the mobile phone kept on the seat. After that, he fled from there. According to the victim, the thief took his iPhone which was kept on the seat of the car and fled. Before he knew anything, the accused had fled from the scene.
Following the incident, the victim has filed an FIR at Vinoba Bhave police station in Kurla and the Police are now searching for the accused based on CCTV footage.
