In a recent interview, actor Nausheen Ali Sardar opened up about not letting fame go to her head, after seeing fans being brutal to veterans Rajesh Khanna and even Hema Malini. ‘Not a single fan approached Rajesh Khanna at the airport after his downfall’
recalled spotting him at the airport, after he had started fading from the minds of audiences. In the midst of the interview, she also went on to recall that not everyone can handle success well. Because she saw it at such a young age, it didn’t affect her. Recalling an anecdote from the early days, she revealed, that she happened to be at the airport and Bollywood’s only superstar Rajesh Khanna was there. She remembered when people used to say things like, ‘His car used to become red with kisses’ and ‘He was the Superstar of the film industry’. But, not even one single person went to him for an autograph, it was a bad moment but it gave her a good lesson for the rest of her life.
