Legendary filmmaker late Late Yash Chopra’s son Uday Chopra made his debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Mohabbatein, but distanced from acting following a series of flops.
This was despite the fact that the actor. Ironically, his filmi career faded quickly and this was also regardless belonging to one of the richest family into film business Yash Raj Films, in the film industry. He is also the younger brother of filmmaker Aditya Chopra. Yet couldn’t achieve success as an actor. He won many hearts with his memorable roles in Mohabbatein and Dhoom. He embarked into film career as an assistant director in the 90s. He assisted his father Yash Chopra on films like Lamhe Darr and Dil To Paagal Hai and also helped his brother Aditya, currently the Chairman of Yash Raj Films, with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge before marking his acting debut in Mohabbatein. He had shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

In the coming years, he also became a part of the successful Bollywood franchise Dhoom as the popular character Jai, sharing screen space with Abhishek Bachchan. He reprised his role in Dhoom 2 and Dhoom 3 in 2006 and 2013 respectively.

However, his career as a mainstream Hindi cinema actor proved a failure after receiving criticism from audiences. His performances in movies such as Neal ‘N’ Nikki, Pyaar Impossible, and Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai didn’t impress the public. His last big screen appearance was in 2013 in Dhoom 3.
