Aishwarya Rai’s Toxic family goes viral
It’s nothing new that some social media pages have made it a routine to share blind hate against celebrities and their families.
These accounts regularly post edited videos not to inform but to provoke reactions and trigger fan wars.
A new viral video now targets Aishwarya Rai’s in-laws, featuring Jaya Bachchan and her daughter Shweta Bachchan-Nanda amidstan interview. The way it is edited makes it seem like the mother and daughter are arguing over small, meaningless issues.
In one part of the video, Shweta asks the interviewer not to interrupt her. In another, Jaya tells the host not to speak too fast as it’s hard to follow. When Shweta loses her train of thought, Jaya jokes that she talks too much. These clips, shown out of context, create the illusion of a heated quarrel.
Regardless appearing light-hearted in the full interview, the edited video portrays the Bachchan family as problematic. Many online users reacted strongly, questioning how Aishwarya Rai manages to live peacefully with such in-laws.
Some even commented that she “married out of her league,” while others pointed out how the video is conveniently edited to paint the family in a bad light.
Celebrities are often judged instantly for what they say or do. Rarely do people check the full context before forming opinions. Unfortunately, such edited videos often fuel negativity and increase engagement for the pages that post them.
These tactics not only mislead viewers but also encourage toxic fan behaviour. As a responsible audience, it is important not to blindly believe everything we see online. Whether positive or negative, content must be consumed with awareness and fairness.
In the end, it’s better to stay away from toxic pages and trust what we genuinely see, not what they want us to believe.
