Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic Love & War is solidifying to be one of the biggest cinematic events of 2026. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, the film ensures an ‘epic’ love story set against the backdrop of war.

Even as the makers are keeping much of the project under wraps,now fresh details on a key action sequence have emerged.

Reportedly, an Industry source reveals that Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor have been undergoing intense prep for a
high-octane fight sequence in Love & War,” SLB is preparing for an intense fight scene between Vicky and Ranbir. The team is going to block an entire street in Sicily, Italy, for this massive schedule.

Notably, this international shoot by SLB comes after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, making it one of the most ambitious highlights of the film.

The story centres around a love triangle amid two army officers, played by Ranbir and Vicky, and Alia Bhatt’s character. Taking inspiration from the themes of the 1964 classic Sangam, Bhansali’s film reimagines the complex, high-stakes romance with a contemporary lens.

Ranbir’s role is said to be a “twisted grey” character, offering him ample scope for a layered performance. The wartime backdrop adds further intensity to the already charged emotions of love, rivalry, and sacrifice.
