Swara Bhasker refuses to comment on Kangana’s political career
Actress Swara Bhasker, acknowledged her roles in films viz: ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’, recently recounted on her views on politics, the glamour collaborated with it, and her thoughts on actress-turned politician Kangana Ranaut’s political journey. Both of them shared the screen in the popular ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ franchise, where audiences loved their on-screen camaraderie.
Amidst a media interaction when asked about Kangana Ranaut embracing politics and her career shift, Swara replied, that she is clueless on what people do in their personal or professional lives. Her opinion will be only on those topics which are in public interest or there is abuse of power. She never comments on anyone’s personal life.
The actress underscores accountability for all political leaders
and also spoke over the responsibilities that come with political power. She also underscored that where the leader comes from, if you are selected, you are answerable to your people. People have chosen you and given you the power; thus, you should be responsible for it. It doesn’t matter who the politician is, wherever he may have come from.
Swara explains politics is not always glitzy No one campaigned for her husband Fahad, and also shed light over realities of politics. She said, ” (When you see politics, you only see glamour. I will do road shows, there will be so many crowds, and I will give speeches. But politics is not limited to campaigning only. There are down days in politics too.
Swara and Fahad are are at present visible on the reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Faruqui and Sonali Bendre. The show tests celebrity couples through fun and challenging tasks.
Kangana Ranaut on the work front
Kangana’s most recent release was ‘Emergency’, which kissed the silver screen in January this year. The film also featured Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman.
Reportedly, Kangana is set to make her Hollywood debut in the horror drama ‘Blessed Be the Evil’, featuring Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone.
