Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, featuring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has clocked 50 days in theatres, crossing
Rs 500 crore worldwide to emerge as Hindi cinema’s highest-grossing love story.

Film’s lead players Panday and Aneet Padda, etched the landmark.with a
loved-up note to fans. The newcomers, who made their debut with the Yash Raj Films production, shared intimate pictures together on Instagram, celebrating the film’s success.
Their note amidst the success of the film read “Saiyaara” brought us to the world and the world to us. The love that we have gotten feels like a testament to the fact that if you believe in magic, if you feel it, the world may just feel it with you (sic)”.

The duo, who play Krish Kapoor, an aspiring musician (Ahaan), and Vaani Batra, a reserved writer (Aneet), also expressed their gratitude to the audiences and fans for accepting them and the film and for embracing their journey. They added in their note “Thank you for being as vulnerable as us, for letting us in, for reminding us that honesty and love are more powerful than anything else in this world. That knowing will always be the most beautiful thing we carry forward (sic),” they added.

The film released under Yash Raj Films banner has defied expectations to turn out to be as a major blockbuster grossing over Rs 500 crore worldwide. With this, it has set a new record as the highest-grossing love story in Indian cinema. The film’s fresh casting, soul-stirring music, and the palpable chemistry between its leads have been central to its success.
As ‘Saiyaara’ continues its strong theatrical run, the 50-day landmark cements its place as one of the most memorable romantic dramas in recent years, and a striking debut for Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.
