Actress Karishma Sharma sustained serious injuries after jumping from a moving local train in Mumbai. She updated fans about her condition via a post on social media.
The actress is recognised for her roles in ‘Ragini MMS Returns’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama. She has sustaimwas seriously injured after jumping from a moving train in Mumbai. She is currently hospitalised and under medical supervision, with the incident highlighting commuter safety concerns.
The incident occurred as she was travelling to Churchgate for a shoot. Sharma shared details of the incident on her Instagram story, informing followers of her hospitalisation and requesting prayers for her recovery.
According to Sharma, she decided to wear a saree for the journey and attempted to board the train at high speed. According to her statement her friends couldn’t board the local leading to fear and her decision to jump. As a result, she landed on her back and sustained injuries. The actor has described the episode as extremely painful.
In her Instagram story, Sharma explained: “Yesterday, while going for a shoot at Churchgate, she decided to catch the local wearing a saree. As soon as she boarded the train, its speed increased, and she saw that her friends were unable to board. Out of fear, jumped and fell on her back, which caused a significant injury to her head.
Karisma reported swelling on her head, back pain, and bruises on her body. Medical professionals advised her to undergo an MRI scan to rule out serious head injuries, and she is currently being monitored in the hospital for one day.
She further shared: her back is injured, head swollen, and there are bruises on her body. Doctors have advised an MRI to check if the head injury is serious. She has been kept under observation for a day. She has been in pain since yesterday, but staying strong. Please pray for her speedy recovery and send her their love.
A close friend of the actress posted a message from the hospital, highlighting the shock experienced by those close to Sharma. The friend wrote: she can’t believe this has happened to Karishma. Her friend fell from the train and doesn’t remember anything. She was found her lying on the ground and rushed to nearby hospital
