Mahavatar Narsimha’ emerges as a captivating exhibit of endurance

The eighth week run of Ashwin Kumar’s mythological animation directorial film “Mahavatar Narimsha” has emerged as a captivating exhibit of endurance. The film which gears up to embark its journey on OTT and terminate its theatrical run minted Rs 1.15 crore at the box office. The film is likely to conclude its run on a high note with its existing run in theatres the film has raced past Mohit Suri’s directorial “Saiyaara” featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer’s 8th week collection where it had collected Rs 16 lakh.

Looking at Mahavatar Narimsha’s 8th week collection, the film earned Rs 70 lakh from Hindi version , Rs 19 lakh from Kannada version, Rs 21 lakh from Telugu version and Rs 5 lakh from Tamil version. With this the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 250.29 crore. With the collection the film also became the 2nd highest 8th week collection of the year, the first spot being held by Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava which had collected
Rs 4.1 crore.

The highest grossing film in its 8th week was Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2, it collected Rs 4.55 crore . Even as other major money spinners in 8th week were Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 which earned Rs 2.85 crore Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 wasn’t far behind with Rs 2.8 crore. Shah Rukh’s films are also not far behind , Pathaan earned Rs 1.88 crore while Jawan had collected Rs 50 lakh. Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor had also stayed in theaters till the 8th week and it collected Rs 56 lakh in it’s run.
