Anupama Parameswaran recounts her experience working with late actor Suresh Gopi
Anupama Parmeshwaran has been more active in the Telugu film industry in recent years. Her last Malayalam outing was JSK, starring Suresh Gopi, released in 2025
Now, the actress is in the spotlight for a deeply emotional revelation she shared amidst the promotions of her latest Telugu film, Kishkindhapuri.
Speaking to the media Anupama recalled on her old friend – that due to some problem, they did not talk anymore, so he texted her. Actually, two days before that, she had met him somewhere randomly. Then he texted her two days later. She decided never to have anymore problems and didn’t reply. Two days later, he expired. He was going through cancer. So the last message was his message to her and she didn’t reply. It’s a very scary thing; if we have a fight with someone close and then something happens to them, that remains a very bad memory. That’s one thing she will want to wipe away.
The actor’s candid confession has sparked conversations among fans, many praising her honesty about personal struggles.
Her latest film, Kishkindhapuri, featuring Srinivas Bellamkonda, hit theatres on September 12. Regardless receiving a positive response, its box office collections have remained average. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati and produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens, the movie follows a group of people who embark on a ghost tour and stumble into an abandoned radio station, only to awaken a sleeping spirit that puts their lives in peril.
The technical team of the film includes Manisha A Dutt as the Production Designer, D. Siva Kamesh as the art director, and Niranjan Devaramane as the editor. G. Kanishka is the Creative Head of the film, which has Darahas Palakollu as its co-writer.
