Inarguably, Ahaan Panday had a blockbuster debut alongside Aneet Padda in ‘Saiyaara’. This Mohit Suri-directorial film catapulted Ahaan and Aneet to dizzying heights as they emerged as the most promising newcomers of 2025. Following their exceptional success, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what the young actors would do next.
Reportedly, Ahaan Panday has inked a deal for his second film with YRF’s AdityaChopra and will be helped by none other than Ali Abbas Zafar, acknowledged for blockbusters like ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Sources reveal that Ali Abbas Zafar was impressed with Ahaan Panday’s aura
and a report states that Ali Abbas Zafar has been developing this action romance with Aditya Chopra as his next directorial.
The report further adds that “Ali has won over the audience with brilliant dramas like Sultan, and even in an action film like Tiger Zinda Hai, he made the story-narration gripping due to the drama that he infused in the scenes. Ali wanted to go back to his roots, to the genre that has given him so much love with his next film. He was bowled over seeing Ahaan Panday and his aura with emotional and dramatic scenes in Saiyaara.
It’s learned that Aditya Chopra suggested casting a fresh face and as per reports, Aditya Chopra recommended that Ali Abbas Zafar should cast Ahaan as he believed a new face would bring surprise for the audience. The report says he sees Ahaan’s “underexposure actually his biggest advantage”, and after ‘Saiyaara’’s success, fans would be even more excited about his next step.

The report further reveals that the script has already been finalised and music sittings have started. The film is expected to mount the sets go on in the first quarter of 2026.
Notably this untitled project will mark the fifth collaboration amid Aditya Chopra and Ali Abbas Zafar after ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Gunday’, ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
