Aneet recalls Alia chatting for 10 mins on phone raving Saiyaara

Actress Aneet Padda recently recalled how she lived her fangirl moment with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt following release of Saiyaara.

Renowned director Mohit Suri staged a comeback to direction this year with Saiyaara. The film stormed the box office giving rise to two new sensations, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. In her first solo interview, Aneet revealed how Alia Bhatt raved about the film and recalled practising Alia’s monologues in front of the mirror.

Ovet a chat with the media, Aneet called Alia one of her idols and recalled a fangirl moment when the actor personally lauded her film. Alia had already lauded Saiyaara and its cast on social media. However, Aneet revealed that Alia raved about the film for nearly ten minutes amidst a phone call with her.

Explaining why the moment was so special, Aneet said, she would talk to herself in the bathroom mirror (when she was young) and practise all of Bhatt’s monologues, thinking, ‘How can she do it?’ and then, ‘How can she do it her way?’”
What Alia Bhatt said about Saiyaara on social media- lauding Ahaan and Aneet’s performances in Saiyaara, Alia wrote, “It’s safe to say… two beautiful, magical STARS are born.She doesn’t remember the last time she looked at two actors with such awe. With stars in her eyes… watching the stars in hers. Both shine with such individuality, such honesty — she could watch her again, and again, and again. (And let’s be honest… she probably will.) Alia has already raved to both individually — but clearly, once was not enough. So here she is. Raving Again.
She also lauded Mohit Suri, writing, “To the captain of this very wonderful ship mohit suri — what a film. What feeling. What music!!!!!!!! He made her feel things that only the movies can make him feel. Saiyaara is full of heart, full of soul, full of something that just stays… in the best way. To the entire team, to yrf — congratulations on this beautiful creation. This isn’t just a film. It’s a moment. And she feeld so glad she got to feel it.
