Vivek Oberoi donates Ramayan fee to help cancer-affected kids

It’s not something new that actor Vivek Oberoi donates his Ramayan fee towards cancer-affected kids. He is very much charity minded and goes out of the way to help those in dire need.

The actor is all set to play Vibhishan in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming Ramayan. It’s a matter of pride that he has pledged his entire fee from the film to support children battling cancer. He calls the project both a creative milestone and a deeply personal journey.

In a recent interview Vivek shared that he was moved to give back through his participation in the film. He told Namit (Malhotra) that he doesn’t want a penny for this and wants to donate it to a cause he believes in — helping kids with cancer. The decision stems from his long-standing philanthropic efforts through the Project DEVI and The Cancer Patients Aid Association.

Elaborating over his excitement for Ramayan, Vivek described it as “India’s answer to Hollywood epics.” He added that the project holds a special place in his heart not just for its grandeur but also for its cultural resonance.

Nitesh Tiwari”s directorial, film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Raavan. The cast also includes Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Adinath Kothare, and Sheeba Chaddha. Touted as Bollywood’s most ambitious project yet, Ramayan: Part 1 is expected to blend mythological authenticity with world-class visual effects.
