Amidst “his 2016 blockbuster box-office release Ae Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” clocking 9 years, Karan Johar went down memory lane.
Sharing unseen behind-the- scene pictures, Karan described the film as the most personal project of his career.
Taking to his Instagram Karan wrote, “One year short of a decade and it honestly feels like yesterday when he was on set of perhaps the most personal film he have ever made and he was thrilled to be doing what he does with people who were just exceptional as artists – from the cast to the crew. Adding that his
dil(heart) will never forget this!! Thank you for letting Ae Dil Hai Mushkil grow…for breathing life and love into it till now.”
The film featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anuskha Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in a special role. It’s Karan’s written, produced and directorial film which
explored love, heartbreak, camaraderie and emotional intimacy through the stories of Ayan, Alizeh, and Saba.
On its 9th anniversary, fans flooded Karan’s post with love and nostalgia, sharing their favorite moments, dialogues , and songs from the film. For Karan Johar, the film remains a deeply personal journey and one of the highlights of his filmmaking career.
