Following Sikandar’s failure at the box-office now all eyes are on Salman Khan in the Apoorva Lakhia directorial “Battle of Galwan”. Film is touted as one of the
highly-anticipated upcoming movies.
Director Apoorva Lakhia, and the producer filmmaker keep sharing glimpses from the sets. On Wednesday, Lakhia, on his Instagram story, shared a picture with Amitabh Bachchan from the sets of the movie.
He captioned the post, “Guess what is he telling me tagging Amitabh Bachchan, which immediately set social media and fan forums buzzing.
A netizen tweeted, “IS IT happening? Are we actually getting Salman khan x Amitabh Bachchan back together after so long.. this is gonna be huge if true.”
Another X user wrote, “Anyone who had doubts after seeing this photo is now convinced that Amitabh Bachchan has joined the shooting of MegaStar Salman Khan’s film Battle of Galwan.”
Notedly, Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash amid India and China, which is expected to depict the bravery of Indian soldiers, focusing on the intense combat and strategic challenges.
It features Chitrangda Singh as the female lead, and the ensemble cast comprises Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, Vipin Bhardwaj, Abhishree Sen, Nirbhay Chaudhary, Siddharth Mooley, and Zeyn Shaw in pivotal roles.
Adding to the excitement, even Govinda is reuniting with the Biwi no 1 star in this film.
A few days ago, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja had come on Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar, and Salman had stated that he is going to work with his Partner co-star soon.
Battle of Galwan releases next year, but the exact release date has not yet been announced. However, reportedly, the movie won’t be released on Eid 2026.
