Aryan Khan to direct Shah Rukh Khan in 2027?

The third project of Aryan Khan reportedly could feature
Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Following the wrap up of Aryan’s next film, the collaboration is expected to take shape in 2027.
This comes following the success of
‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Now all eyes are on Aryan Khan’s next move.

Close sources reveal that reports have now emerged on his upcoming lineup, and it is likely to include his father and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

However, before that project begins, the
27-year-old is prioritising another
full-length entertainer, which will serve as his theatrical debut. The report suggests that the young filmmaker will only move on to the project with Shah Rukh Khan after its completion.

The report quoted a source close to the development as saying, “Aryan wants to deliver a theatrical success and prove himself as a filmmaker before taking on the challenge of directing his superstar father, Shah Rukh Khan.”

Describing Aryan’s plan of action, the insider added, “His idea is to earn that opportunity through merit and let his work speak for itself. If all goes as planned, Aryan’s third directorial will feature SRK in the lead. The father-son duo has already locked the core idea. As for now, Aryan is focused on completing the script of his second feature, which will soon enter the casting stage.”

In the midst of a social media session, a fan earlier asked SRK,
“Can they see his son directing him in a full-fledged movie ? Responding to the question, the superstar remarked, “If he can afford him!!! And his tantrums…(sic).”

Aryan made his directorial debut earlier this year with the series *The Ba***ds of Bollywood*, which was released under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The show featured a cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and others. It followed the journey of an outsider trying to make a mark in the film industry.
