Sanjay Khan’s wife Zarine Khan passes away at 71

Another setback for Bollywood has yet to come out of the setback following the death of Dheeraj Kumar Satish Shah Pankaj Dheer Piyush Pandey and another setback with the death of Sulakshana Pandit and Zarine Khan at 81. Zarine was wife of Veteran actor-filmmaker Sanjay khan and mother to Sussanne Khan, Zayed Khan, Farah Khan Ali, and Simone Arora.
The former actress had reportedly been battling age-related health issues for a while.

Zarine Khan was born as Zarine Katrak in a Parsi family in Bengaluru. She was a renowned model, actress and interior designer who got famous in the 1960s and 1970s. Her striking beauty and poise made her one of the early faces who helped shape India’s fashion and advertising industry. She also acted in Hindi films, with significant roles in movies such as Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963), wherein she starred alongside Dev Anand.
Beyond her on-screen presence, she was also known as the wife of actor-director Sanjay Khan. The two reportedly met in the late 1960s and eventually tied the knot.
Amidst the buzz surrounding their lives, Zarine chose to largely stay away from the limelight, focusing on her family and home.
She also authored cookbooks and lifestyle articles that included recipes from Parsi families, preserving the Parsi and family food traditions.
