The iconic track was penned by the legendary Sahir Ludhianvi and composed by Khayyam. the song originally Yash Chopra’s 1976 classic drama featured Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Rakhee, Waheeda Rehman, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.
The story begins with Amit (Bachchan) and Pooja (Rakhee), two lovers torn apart by circumstances. Years later, fate brings their children together, trying to reunite their parents.
