Hema Malini, Esha Deol negate Dharmendra’s death rumours

Legendary actress and BJP MP Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol have come down heavily on Dharmendra death rumours and negate the same. They confirm that the legendary actor while on ventilator is responding to treatment.

Social media on Tuesday morning was flooded with false reports claiming the legendary actor’s passing away.

Reportedly, the rumours quickly went viral, with several unverified portals posting fabricated details over his “last rites” and tributes from celebrities.
The misleading news spread like lightning leaving fans heartbroken and creating confusion across the film fraternity. Within hours, family members stepped in and set the record straight urging everyone to stop circulating false information.

Esha Deol, Dharmendra’s daughter, was the first to publicly negate the unsubstantiated claims. Taking to social media, she clarified that her father was very much alive and on the road to recovery.
Adding that the media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. Her revered father is stable and recovering. She requested one and all to give their family privacy and thanked for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery,” she wrote, confirming that the legendary actor continues to be under medical supervision.

Soon following Esha’s clarification, Sunny Deol’s team released an official statement reinforcing the truth. “Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy”.
The clarification came as a sigh of relief for fans who were anxiously following the unverified updates online.
Hema Malini too shared a brief update, requesting fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers. She confirmed that Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month following complaints of breathlessness and is now recovering under the care of senior doctors.
In a statement to the media the legendary actress said he is under observation. Please pray for his health. Her calm assurance helped ease the anxiety that had gripped admirers across the country.
The legendary actor was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital Hospital
in early November after he experienced breathlessness and fatigue. He has been under the supervision of senior cardiologists for a respiratory-related condition and general observation, common for elderly patients.
Sources close to the family confirmed that the hospitalisation was a precautionary step to ensure his comfort and stability.

The confusion over his passing away began when unverified sources reported that Dharmendra’s condition had worsened overnight. Sans confirmation from family or hospital officials, several small portals and social media pages hastily published obituaries.

Reportedly, for many of the readers the legend’s advanced age and recent hospitalisation only added to the credibility of the rumour. This incident once again highlights the dangers of misinformation and the urgent need for responsible reporting in the age of instant news.

As Dharmendra continues to recover, his family has appealed to fans and media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified news. They have emphasized the importance of compassion and sensitivity, reminding everyone that behind every rumour lies a family dealing with real emotions. The Logical Indian also urges readers to verify facts through credible sources before sharing any information, especially when it concerns someone’s life or death.
Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most beloved stars, remains under medical care but is stable, conscious, and responding well to treatment. For millions of fans who grew up admiring his charisma in films like Sholay and Chupke Chupke, this reassurance brings immense relief. The Deol family’s dignified response serves as a reminder that empathy and truth must always triumph over sensationalism.
