When Dharmendra called Salman his ‘son’ but referred as ‘Suleiman’
It’s well-known that
Dharmendra and Salman Khan share a passionate bond for each other. The legendary actor has expressed multiple times how much he admires the veteran legend. Not just Dharmendra, Khan shares a good bond with the entire Deol family. This equation exists since Salman was young and the rising star of Bollywood. Amidst the ‘Dabanng’ actor visiting the veteran star at the hospital, an old video of the duo sharing a stage has surfaced.
In the clip, which has probably been shot in the 1990s, the duo was seen attending an event. Amidst the same, the Bollywood Legend interacted with the audience, where he made a small goof-up. After introducing Madhuri Dixit, he called Salman Khan, “Aur saath mein mera beta Suleiman (And with her, my son Suleiman).”
Soon, the crowd laughed at the error he made, but Dharmendra continued with his words. After he was done with it he turned around to apologize to Salman for the goof-up. Young Khan just brushed it off, indicating that it was nothing at all with a sweet smile on his face.
Dharmendra shared screen space with Salman Khan in the film ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’, which also featured Kajol. Later, the superstar made special appearances in the veteran actor’s movies, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se’ and ‘Tell Me O Khhuda’.
Dharmendra’s son, Bobby Deol, also credited his revival in the film industry to Salman Khan. The actor thanked the superstar for giving him a role in ‘Race 3’.
Dharmendra, fondly known as the ‘He-Man’ of the Hindi cinema was discharged on Wednesday morning and further treatment will continue at his residence.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have barricaded the Juhu house of the legendary actor. On the other hand, the family members of Dharmendra have stated that he is showing signs of recovery and is stable at the moment. They urged everyone not to spread false rumors about Dharmendra’s demise.
