Madhuri Dixit shares her daring initial date with Dr Shriram Nene

Dr Shriram Nene in 1999, distancing from the film industry to begin a new chapter. Years later, she openly shared how nervous she felt amidst her very first date with him.
Madhuri once opened up on the memorable day on Simi Garewal’s show. She recalled that Dr Nene invited her for a mountain-biking outing — a sport she had never tried. She described the moment with honesty and humour: adding the first time they met, he said, ‘Let’s go mountain biking.’ she swore she hadn’t sat on a bicycle for the past 20 years.
Madhuri shared, that she was literally frightened out of her wits… ‘Did she just come down that?’” When she confessed to Dr Nene that she had never done anything like it, he admired her effort. As she recalled, he told her, “You are brave.” Their adventure turned into a defining moment, showing how naturally they connected.
Notably, on October 17, the couple celebrated 26 years of marriage. Madhuri shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, captioned: “From moments to memories, 26 years of walking through life hand in hand. Happy anniversary.”
