Amitabh to welcome Indian Women’s Cricket World Cup champs at KBC 17
After hosting the cast of The Family Man 3, Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharib Hashmi, the quiz show is now set to welcome the India Women’s Cricket Team in its upcoming episode.
In a captivating upcoming episode, KBC 17 and the megastar Amitabh Bachchan will welcome a special line-up from the India Women’s Cricket ecosystem: Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Kaur Deol, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, and India Women’s Team Head Coach Amol Muzumdar.
This special line-up will unite two of the nation’s greatest passions, cricket and quizzing. In the midst of the recent episode of the show, Manoj Bajpayee recalled his first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan amidst the film, Satya’s premiere
Manoj shared,
“A well-known film journalist tricked him into stepping out of the car and locked it from inside, forcing him to stay out and meet Amitabh Bachchan instead of hiding. He panicked. If he stood there, Amitabh would spot him. So, he ran straight into the washroom and locked himself inside. After some time, thinking Bachchan might have left, he stepped out only to find Abhishek Bachchan waiting outside.
Manoj Vajpayee added, “Abhishek told him he had seen him run in and had waited to say hello. And then, this tall, towering figure appeared right in front of him, Amitabh Bachchan himself. Time just stopped. He couldn’t hear anything. And his mind turned blank. The man who inspired him all the way back in fifth grade. was standing right in front of him. Amitji was holding hid hands and was talking to him and he had turned deaf. Manoj couldn’t process the entire scene. Overwhelmed, he mustered the courage to ask , “Sir… can I… may I hug you?” Amitabh Bachchan hugged him.
Amitabh Bachchan is presently hosting the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, which began airing on August 11 and is broadcast every weekday at 9 PM.
