Mumbai to host sixth edition of Global Youth Fest in December CM Fadnavis to attend

Mumbai, the city of dreams and the city which never sleeps,
will host the Global Youth Festival (GYF)
on December 6 and 7.

The festival organised by Udupi Srimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur is expected to witness the attendance by over 15,000 people.

Now in its sixth edition, GYF was earlier held in London and Pune.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the festival and endorsed the platform’s stated mission of shaping “conscious, future-ready leadership”.

The movement carries a track record of civic engagement that goes beyond performance and spectacle, from large-scale charity cyclothons to rural upliftment expos linking causes across healthcare, animal welfare, and community support.

Dr Alok Shah, the festival coordinator, said that unlike festivals organised around a single theme, GYF positions itself as an ecosystem of experiences aimed at inner growth and outward action. He insists this is not merely a weekend of entertainment, but a catalyst that urges young people to return to work on Monday “changed, charged, and more alive”.

This year’s speaker lineup includes actress-dancer Malaika Arora; Dipali Goenka, CEO of Welspun India; Nilesh Shah; managing director at Kotak Mahindra Asset; Diipa Büller-Khosla, founder of indē wild; Praveer Sinha, CEO of Tata Power; and Aarti Shah, board member, NVIDIA.

The main stage will feature diverse music performances, from this year’s Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2025 winner Stebin Ben to viral bhajan-jamming sensation duo Backstage Siblings, and from the rockstar Bollywood duo Mahadevan Brothers to the soft pop-rock band Last Minute India. All proceeds of the festival go towards national charitable initiatives.
