The Aditya Dhar directorial film which hit the theatres on 5 December with an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt Arjun Rampal Akshaye Khanna R.Madhavan
and Sara Arjun is within the setting against the real-life events that involves the geopolitical conflicts, covert operations by the Indian Army, and other outfits.

Reportedly, the film is inspired by real-life incidents, political conflicts and covert operations of the Indian Army.

The film’s press screenings scheduled to take place in New Delhi and Mumbai on December 4 were cancelled due to technical glitches. While advance bookings indicated a modest start, unconfirmed reports state evening shows on day one are showing improvement.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh’s wife, actor Deepika Padukone, and Aditya Dhar’s wife, actor Yami Gautam are excited over the successful release of the film. On the social media site, X, as per many fans the film caters to total mass entertainment. Meanwhile, according to reports Dhurandhar  is likely to release on OTT in January.

Chaudhary Aslam’s widow threatens legal action over film portrayal.Naureen Aslam, the widow of Karachi police officer Chaudhary Aslam, has voiced her concern over his portrayal in ‘Dhurandhar’. She has threatened to initiate legal action if Chaudhary Aslam is misrepresented. Sanjay Dutt plays the character of Chaudhary Aslam in the film.

Further reports reveal that Dhurandhar is likely to stream on Netflix next year after completing its run at theatres.
Fans conclude that Ranveer Singh’s film is pure paisa vasool. Going by the X reviews, the film is worth a watch, as some social media users have gone ahead to credit it with
5 stars.
