Ranveer-Deepika jet-off to Abu Dhabi for Formula 1 weekend
B’town’s celebrity pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted at the airport, en route to Abu Dhabi for the F1 weekend. Ranveer’s latest film, ‘Dhurandhar’, has turned out to be a box-office office hit, crossing ₹50 crore. Deepika, an acknowledged F1 enthusiast, recently shared her admiration for Brad Pitt’s racing drama.
Twinning in shades of brown, the star couple arrived at the airport in their swanky new car.
Ranveer was seen playing the perfect gentleman as he walked over to his wife, held her hand and made their way to the security check.
While waiting for their details to get verified, the two obliged the paparazzi with photos together. Both Deepika and Ranveer could not hold back their smiles when the cameramen called out to them as “Deepika ji and Dhurandhar.”
‘Dhurandhar’ off to a good start at box office
Their appearance comes at a celebratory moment for Ranveer, whose latest film, ‘Dhurandhar’, is enjoying an impressive opening at the box office.
The actor’s film, which has been earning rave reviews and winning praise from critics and fans alike, has also been raking in the big bucks at the box office. Within its first weekend, the film has already surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark, and is reportedly making its way to the Rs 100 crore mark.
