It’s learned that Lynda is said to have transformed her name to Pooja Deol following her marriage to Sunny Deol.
A bond kept under wraps.Sunny Deol made his Bollywood debut with Betaab in 1983, a blockbuster that instantly made him a national heartthrob.
In the midst of this rising fame, Sunny reportedly married Pooja Deol in a private ceremony in London in 1984.
In the interests of his career, the marriage was kept strictly confidential until a London-based magazine finally published photographs from their wedding. For years, Sunny denied reports about his bond and marriage, contributing to speculation over the couple’s distance and Pooja’s long-term stay in London.

Before and after his marriage, Sunny Deol was often linked to co-stars. He was rumoured to be dating his debut co-star Amrita Singh, who later married Saif Ali Khan in 1991. Sunny was also said to have been close to Dimple Kapadia, with whom he worked in films like Arjun and Narsimha. Dimple had separated from Rajesh Khanna in 1982.
