Notedly, Akshay Kumar’s rugged fierce avatar featuring a
full-grown beard,
a half-pony hairstyle, and an intense expression has gone viral and has sparked significant buzz as it
marks the actor’s return to a negative role after18 years.
The film is Priyadarshan’s directorial, marking his first collaboration with Akshay Kumar since 2010 released
“Khatta Meetha”. With this film Akshay Kumar reunites with Saif Ali Khan for the first time since 2008 released “Tashan”. The film also features a special appearance by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and with Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
Reportedly, Haiwaan is an adaptation of Mohanlal’s acclaimed 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam.
Produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, the movie theatrically releases in 2026. The film has been shot on locations including Kochi, Ooty, and Mumbai, with a major car chase sequence recently filmed in Mumbai’s Churchgate area.
