Reportedly Kavita Khanna, late actor Vinod Khanna’s second wife, spoke about her equation with his sons Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna from his first marriage to Geetanjali Khanna. According to her she did not try to be a mother to them because they already had a mother, and explained that her relationship with Geetanjali remained cordial with clear boundaries and mutual respect. Kavita also recalled over viewing Rahul and Akshaye as part of the family because they were Vinod’s children, while still recognising their mother’s place in their lives.
