Subhash Ghai turns emotional at “Ikkis” screening

Sriram Raghavan directorial upcoming biographical war drama ‘Ikkis’ theatrically released on January 1st 2026.

Amid watching “Ikkis” special screening Legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai turned emotional at the performance of Indian cinema’s legendary actor late Dharmendra.
It was his last film before he breathed his last on November 24 2025 at 89.

Taking to his Instagram post he shared the
the response to the film by the audience. He shared that he felt immensely happy that people liked the movie.
Adding he was very much touched by the emotional drama and the performances. He wrote another note on his Instagram, saying that his heart goes for DHARAM pa ji last film IKKIS which got a warming applause at the premiere on Wednesday in Mumbai. He extended his
heartfelt congratulations to dear deol family and entire team of Maddock Films with special compliments for Jaideep Alahwat and Agastya Nanda for their exceptional performance. Stay blessed always love.
The makers also shared a poem written by Dharmendra, “Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa,” which shows his love for his village.
The film stars Agastya Nanda debuting as Arun Khetarpal, with Dharmendra in his final screen role, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia.
