The Prime Minister further went on to highlight that Pongal has evolved into a global festival celebrated with enthusiasm by Tamil communities across the world
PM also noted that traditional festivals like Pongal plays a key role in preserving India’s cultural identity while promoting unity among states. He also
interacted with attendees amidst he Pongal celebration and conveyed greetings to people across the country on the occasion
